6ixteen country house is set in 17 acres of glorious countryside. Every room in the house has been planned to be a versatile and inviting location property
On entering the front door you are met with a large hallway and beautiful double height oak staircase with a 5 meter high window allowing ample natural light to beam into the space.
The ground floor has a large conservatory styled with reclaimed boards and a wood burner, giving a wood cabin vibe inside. There is a livid green library with its own hidden bookshelf door and open fire. The Living room with its white washed floorboards – has large triple aspect windows, giving the space a lot of light, again with its own wood burner and traditional paneling on both the ceilings and the walls. There is also a dark paneled small and cosy TV room between the hallway and the Kitchen.
Moving onto the the middle floor there you will find the principle suite, on one side is the ensuite area with freestanding bath and fluted paneling behind. Then on otherside you find a large plastered bedroom space, with wardrobes cleverly hidden behind a large floor to ceiling wood paneled wall.
On this floor you’ll find another two shoot bedrooms, one is paneled and painted in a warm dusty pink colour with an ensuite adjoined to it. The final shoot room is called the ‘birch room’, it has square birched paneling and a scandi feel to it.
The grounds have a swimming pool, tennis courts, two sets of stables, rose garden, pond with boat. There are lots of hidden areas in the garden, which have great shoot potential.
