Description
The London Apollo Club has been housed on the ground floor of the Willesden Trades Hall has been a post war addition since 1969. It was one of the first Reggae clubs in Europe, and was a critical sanctuary space for the Afro-Caribbean community of London. The interior boasts a rare tropical modernist design and remains in its original condition, with period decoration and fixtures and fittings.
