This 1910 Edwardian semi-detached 4 bedroom house backs onto a canal in North London, on a quiet road with free parking. The sun streams into the garden and back of the property (the kitchen and dining room) in the mornings, and into the hallway and front living room later in the day. 

The house is on split levels with interesting steps leading to the bedrooms and extended kitchen, and has many original period features: stained glass doors and windows, architraving, cornicing, fireplaces, mosaic tiled floor and original serving hatch.

The house has been decorated in a vintage eclectic Art Deco style, with patterned wallpapers, dark timberwork and brass vintage fixtures and fittings, culminating in an atmospheric location choice.

There’s good light in the house throughout the day and well-proportioned reception rooms, bedrooms and kitchen. 

There are three doorways into the garden: the kitchen side passage (all sloped from the front, no steps), main Crittall kitchen double doors, and the Art Nouveau stained glass doors leading from the second reception room down steps into a patio seating area beneath a pergola,  then onwards through the garden. A curved brick pathway leads to a single storey building, our garden office (but could be used in many ways) with white wood -panelled walls, two rooms and a bathroom with stained glass interior doors. The green leafy garden with tree house can also be used if required.

There are three toilets at the property: two in the main house, and one in the garden room.
