The house is situated on the top of a small hill in the quiet Dobree Estate, nearby is Willesden Sports Centre which is a perfect crew base, and Roundwood Park for bigger parking area. The house is full of original features from the 1930s when it was built and has very large square rooms with space. There is a side passage to the back garden without having to go through the house. The garden is over 100ft long at the back with a home office and patio. The house is north facing and has sun in the front in the morning and back in the afternoon.
There are two main living rooms – both with bay windows – the back room has doors out onto the patio. The kitchen is L shaped with a sitting area with a door out onto the patio. Cream coloured cupboards and a black and white chequered lino floor. The sink looks out over the garden. The hall is large and there is a downstairs loo.
There are 3 large bedrooms and 1 small bedroom – as well as a bathroom with original bath and lead lighted windows. The shower room is modern with black and white tiles. There is a separate toilet (good for when shooting with kids).
A NOTE FROM THE OWNER
“The owners are an actor and an ex advertising producer so well used to the vagaries of shooting and understanding of the undertaking of a film crew. We love our house but like to make it work for us a bit too – its the way we keep it maintained.”
