A 1930s end-of-terrace with a large rear extension and heaps of space. Our Wood Street location offers the best of both worlds: lots of space for filming, yet it’s just a 20-minute train ride from Central London and there’s on-site parking too.
A large, open-plan rear extension with a zero-waste bespoke walnut kitchen transforms the 65sqm ground floor into a large, bright space. Slide the dining table away into the front room and there’s loads of room for cameras and people for a stress-free kitchen shoot. This light location is perfect for cookbook, kitchen appliance shoots, filming cookery shows or social content.
Meanwhile the cosy front room boasts a corner wood-burning stove for winter shoots and the hallway features a vintage stained glass front door. Upstairs are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The roomy, rear-facing bedrooms have great light for hair and makeup.
A NOTE FROM THE OWNER
Our home boasts lots of space and great light. The story of the Eco Extension can be read here http://www.uglyducklinghouse.co.uk/ and has appeared in the Evening Standard, Ideal Home and BBC London News. Thanks to further DIY, the rest of the home is now available for shoots too. It’s roomy and light with wooden floors throughout.
Shooting or filming here, you get plenty of space (and parking!) but it’s fast to get here on public transport from Central London. Nearby Wood Street has some cool cafes to sustain you too.
